🔮 How Etherealization Works in UTDX

Duplicate-Based Progression

Etherealization (E-Levels) is the duplicate-unit power system in Universal Tower Defense X. Unlike Evolution, which uses farmable materials, Etherealization exclusively requires duplicate copies of the same unit. Each E-Level demands progressively more duplicates: E1 costs just 1 dupe, while E6 requires 12 additional dupes on top of the 19 already invested—totaling 31 duplicate copies for a fully maxed unit.

Stat Boosts & Passive Unlocks

Each Etherealization level provides a cumulative stat boost applied to all base stats (ATK, HP, DEF, SPD). The scaling is non-linear: E1 gives +10%, E3 reaches +45%, and the final E6 level pushes to a massive +150% stat multiplier. Additionally, each level unlocks a unique passive—from minor stat increases at E1 to the coveted ultimate ability at E5 and the exclusive aura effect at E6. This makes higher E-Levels not just stat sticks but genuine power-gate mechanics.

Etherealization vs. Evolution

Many new players confuse Etherealization with Evolution—they are separate systems.
